The calendar feature allows you to work with two different kinds of calendar items, namely:
- calendar tasks
- calendar events
Calendar tasks
Calendar tasks are private and are meant to be used to organise and keep track of one’s to do-list. You can create, edit, delete or mark as done tasks linked to a specific date in the calendar and those tasks will be shown to you in a organised list on a daily basis. You can also leverage a specific view that allows you to scroll through previously created items, either to check something you have already completed or to move ahead and see what’s been planned in advance.
Calendar events
Calendar events can be either private or public and are meant to be used to schedule meetings, workshops or other kind of activities that take place in a specific date and time. You can assign a calendar event to start on a specific date and time and to end on a specific date and time, which means you can also schedule in longer lasting events such as business trips, conferences and the likes. You can also assign many people to a single event and once you do so, each assignee will see the event popping up on their calendar automatically.
